Cícero Costha and PSLPB Social Project
Profesor Cícero Costha is one of the top featherweight competitors of his generation, a student under another well known coach, Mr. Marco Barbosa and coach for many big names in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu industry. PSLPB – Projeto Social Lutando Pelo Bem, is a social project founded by Professor Cicero that shelters low income young athletes and provides them high level competition training and opportunities to make a living out of the sport.
Cicero Costha’s headquarters is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. And today PSLPB has over 400 affiliates all over the world from former students that decided to carry on Cicero’s legacy.
Our gym, GRIT Factory (Plano), is now the home base for Cicero Costha’s competition team in the US. All of GRIT athletes will represent PSLPB Cicero Costha USA in tournaments and all of our students will carry his lineage on their BJJ journey.
Cicero’s lineage: Carlos Gracie > Helio Gracie >Rickson Gracie > Marcelo Behring > Waldomiro Perez >Roberto Godoi > Marco Barbosa > Cicero Costha
