Located in Plano (TX), the first GRIT Factory Self Defense Martial Arts has a structured program that provides “Jiu-jitsu for all, and Jiu-Jitsu for life”. From someone that has never heard of jiujitsu to the highest ranking belts, we have specific training for everyone.

Jiujitsu is an ongoing learning process, and we understand that even after you become a black belt you can still learn new techniques, because the practice is always evolving.

Our school is different because we have a program carefully created to teach jiujitsu from the beginner to the most advanced level, with a step by step process to guide our students through every stage of each belt. And our graduation system will only allow a student that has fully learned the required techniques for their level and has passed the graduation test to go on to the next level, which unfortunately is not done in most jiujitsu academies. Your belt or stripe should never be bought, it should be earned.
